It features a vocal from Colombian singer Shakira. The song was written by Mikkel S. Eriksen, Tor Erik Hermansen, Amanda Ghost, Ian Dench, Beyoncé Knowles and produced by Stargate and Knowles. The official music video was premiered on MTV’s Total Request Live on February 28, 2007, directed by Jake Nava. For the record, “Beautiful Liar” peaked at number #3 on the US Billboard Hot 100, topped the UK Singles Chart, and was certified 2x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of over 2,000,000 copies.
