Jesse McCartney – Leavin’ Review

“Leavin’” is a song recorded by American singer Jesse McCartney off his third studio album, Departure released on May 20, 2008. The song was written and produced by Tricky Stewart, and The-Dream. It is the lead single of the album and was sent to the U.S. mainstream radios on March 10, 2008. It remains one of McCartney’s biggest hit single in the USA to date, and one one of the biggest song in 2008, receiving huge radio and mainstream play reaching No.1 in the Billboard Top 40 Mainstream and almost took the No.1 spot in the Billboard Pop 100 but Katy Perry’s single “I Kissed A Girl” took the lead with the song having to take No.2. Also, the song reached the Top 10 in the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the iTunes charts reaching No.1 with over 3 million downloads, and 3 million visual copies sold. Leavin’ also peaked at No.1 in the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play.
