This is the follow up to the American television music-themed teen sitcom based on the band of the same name, Big Time Rush. The hour-long pilot episode, “Big Time Audition”, aired as a “sneak preview” on November 28, 2009, but it began airing as a regular series on January 18, 2010 at 8:30 pm ET with the episode “Big Time School of Rocque”, to 6.8 million viewers.
The song was written by Wayne Hector, Lucas Secon, Bang Chan and produced by Lucas Secon. It also features rapper Snoop Dog and as for record Boyfriend has peaked at #22 on US Billboard Hot 100.
