It was later included as the lead single from their debut studio album, We Started Nothing on 16 May 2008, through Columbia Records. The track was written by Jules De Martino and Katie White and produced by Martino. The accompanying music video for the single was premiered on MTV on January 26, 2009, and had surpassed 79 million views as of March 11, 2023.
For the record, “That’s Not My Name” peaked at number #39 on the US Billboard Hot 100, topped the UK Singles chart, and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of over 1,000,000 copies.
